Partnerships

Native American Horse Trail

Picture
The Native American Horse Trail (NAHT) was founded in 2014. The NAHT is a partnership of horse sanctuaries across North America that is dedicated to the preservation and protection of the Native American Horse. Although each location has its unique focal points, our alliance is firmly committed to providing opportunities for people to learn about the history of the horse in the Americas, and to experience these creatures in their natural environments or on
traditional lands.
Each of our member organizations is dedicated to the following three things:
1. Preservation of the Native American Horse
2. Promotion of the history of these horses with Native Peoples
3. The protection of related sacred sites and ceremonies

It is our belief that through a strong partnership, we can secure a sustainable and fruitful future for both the ponies and the people who love them.
